Dr. Jonathan M. Cohen is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon serving patients at Dental Care of Stamford. Born and raised in Great Neck, NY, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry and graduated with multiple honors.
Dr. Cohen completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore LIJ, gaining extensive clinical exposure to restorative dentistry, implantology, and oral surgery. He then completed a five-year residency in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and University Hospital in Newark, NJ, a Level One Trauma Center. In his final year, he served as Chief Resident and was twice recognized with the hospital's patient advocacy award for his gentle nature and excellence in patient care.
